Jubilees 2011

The jubilarians are blessed by the congregation during the jubilee Mass.
The. U.S. Province celebrated the religious jubilees of nine SCJs during a liturgy and dinner at Sacred Heart Monastery on July 11. Commemorating 60 years of vows with the community were Fathers Tom Fix, Tom Lind, Vincent McDonald, Richard Johnston and Charles Yost. Br. John Monek and Bishop Joseph Potocnak celebrated their 50th anniversary. Added to the list of jubilarians were Fathers Vincent Suparman and Donatus Kusmartono from Indonesia. Both are in Hales Corners for study.

On June 11, Fr. Duy Nguyen, SCJ, was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Joseph Potocnak, SCJ, retired bishop of De Aar, South Africa. The ordination took place at Sacred Heart Monastery/School of Theology. Click here to view a photo album from the event.
